MercyFoal is a program of Flying Change which rescues baby horses at risk of being sent to slaughter or left to die. We identify, rescue and stabilize the foals through replacement milk, medical treatment and tender watchful care. Once the foals are stable we begin to expand their socialization. When they are ready, we incorporate the foals into therapy sessions with survivors of trauma for mutual growth and healing.
